TYPE OF THE COCK

COMB            

Walnut-, or peacomb. Small, fast on the head.

BEAK                 

Pudgy, thick up and down, short and well curved.

HEAD              

Big, top of the head is plane. The fronthead is wider than the backhead. The face has many deep wrinckles, the fronthead is prominent on the eyebrows, showing dauntless, become more dauntless year by year.

EYES                 

Keen glance, silver or gold, boat-shape.

WATTLES         

Very small.

EARLOBES        

Firm and thick.

DEWLAP            

Growing, showing red skin.

NECK                 

Long, thick, almost erect. The throat is full, feathers are thin, showing red skin. Neck hackle is thin, short, covering slightly the base of the nack..

WINGS                

Short, muscular, folded well, the wing-front is prominent to the outside of body at the shoulders. The wing-point is curved slightly when it is folded, (the point) firm though the surface of wing rising medium high, meeting on the base of the saddle hackle. The primaries and secondaries are wide, folded in good order.

BACK                   

Medium length, the backline is straight, sloping smoothly downward from the base of the neck to the tail, the both sides of the backbone low slightly, the breath oft he shoulders is very wide an it looks that the between of the wings is wide.

TAIL                      

Short and piled well, hanging down smoothly from the backline. The main tail feathersare open well, showing the shape of a lobstertail (Ebio). The sickles and the tail coverts are short, piled in good order, covering the main tail feathers, of which the points are high, gradually lower. The soft feathers are short. 

BREAST                 

Very wide, deep, the both sides are bulging roundly ahead of the wings, showing red flesh.

BELLY & STERN    

Steady well, bulging roundly for both sides. The front is bending slightly for the inside. The stern is ferm.

LEGS & FEET           

The thigh-bones are medium length, overhanging roundly for outside. The shin-bones are muscular, medium length. The between of the shin-bones is wide. The shanks are somewhat thick. medium length, straight. The scales on the legs are arranged exactly in four ore more lines until the base of the toes. The toes are thick at the base, the points are narrow, straight, well open.

PLUMAGE                 

Short, narrow, clinging well to the body.

HEN                           

Same as the cock except for the characteristic feathers of the cock such as the nack hackle, the saddle hackle, the sickles, etc.

DISQUALIFICATION 

General disqualification faults.
